It had been forever since Cassie had been here. All the memories came flooding back to her. It was a rainy day, but Cassie was just walking in no hurry to get out of the rain. Cassie was wearing dark blue jeans with a black top. Soon she saw the three broomsticks. She knew that Kirsten would be joining her soon. Cassie had sent her a letter letting her know she was back. She pushed open the door and saw well many people. Many of them though she didn't know, and didn't care about them.
She took a seat next to the window just looking out at the rain as it hit the glass. A waiter came over and asked what she wanted, but she said not now. Her dark brown eyes looked at everyone. They seemed scared of her, which made her day now. A smirk appeared on her pale face then went away. One of her dates were here with Jacey. God how she had been missing him. It had been so long now, and Cass hadn't even seen her own daughter. Maybe this was a bad idea to come back now.
Would they want her back? Would they still care about her? All these questions just filled her mind. Soon her head was in her hands then looked up. Kirsten where are you?? She thought in her mind then looked around some more then back down at the table.

Earlier that day, Kirsten Jackson had received an owl from a long lost friend. Cassie Fraser - Her twin brothers wife, had finally returned from wherever the hell she had gone off to. Kirsten remembered the day five years ago that Cass had taken off once again. She had left the day that little Taylor Sage had been born, not to be seen again. Kirsten doubted whether Cassie even knew her own daughters name. Kirsten also remembered tat Jacey had been devastated. He hadn't wanted anything to do with her afterward, not even caring where she had run off to. But then again, Kirsten couldn't blame him. She loved Cassie to death, but how could she just run out on her newborn child and the man she loved? Kirsten couldn't understand her logic. But maybe Cassie had a good reason for running away again. Who really knew.
Dressed in a pair of light faded jeans and a white scope neck top that was beautifully fitted showing off her body, Kirsten had headed to Hogsmead Village where Cassie had told her to meet her. Kirsten had told Brae that she would be back in a few hours, and had left him in charge of the kids. Smiling slightly at the thought, Kirsten wondered what state the house would be in when she returned. It would probably look like a war had gone on, but she didn't really care. Making her way down the crowded streets of Hogsmead, Kirsten looked around. It had been a couple of months since she was last here, but even now she couldn't help but remember her years at hogwarts. There had been a group of them, Braeden, Jacey, Charlie, Jason, Tyler, Cassie, Ryanne, Rachel, Cassi and herself. They had always left Hogwarts when they weren't supposed to. To come to Hogsmead just to act like the little rebels they thought they were.
Reaching the Three Broomsticks, Kirsten pushed the door open. As the door swung closed behind her, Kristen stood at the door for a moment as she let her eyes become accustom to the dim light of the tavern. Once her eyes had adjusted, Kirsten scanned the crowds for Cassie. She finally spotted her sitting by herself by one of the windows at the far side of the shop. Making her way over, Kirsten pushed her had through her long bleach blond hair. "Hey," Kirsten said casually as she reached where Cassie was sitting. Taking a seat across from Cass, Kirsten placed her bags on the floor next to her chair. She wasn't sure what to say. She wasn't sure where to start. How could she know? She was sitting across from the women who had manged to break her brothers heart more than once. Yet underneath it all, Kirsten knew Jacey still loved Cassie, he just couldn't face her.

Cassie heard many people just talking about the Order and the DE. She didn't care anymore, though she wanted the Order memebers to die. But that was another thing completly. Then she heard someone take the seat across from her. A smile appeared on her face then she looked up to see Kirsten. Cassie had heard her say hi and she then tipped her head. "Hey..long time no see." She said softly her eyes not even looking right at Kirsten. "I know Jacey is probley pissed off at me like no tomarrow..and i'm sorry I left. I didn't want to really, I didn't want to go I didn't want to leave my family behind..." She paused then looked at the table.
Her eyes were starting to well up. How could she explain that she had a bad feeling if she were to stay there. She let her fingers go through her long black hair. Then her head hit the table. She didn't know what to do and she felt that she couldn't really come back. "Kirsten.." She whispeared. "I kept having dreams that if I were to stay that Jacey and my daughter were going to die..god I don't even know my daughters name." She said punching the table.
"And when I have dreams I feel like they'll happen..just like to my parents..you remember that.." She said looking back up at her. "I know i'm a sad excuse for a woman, and I also know that Jacey probley doesn't even want me back....but I just wanna see my little girl." Her voice was soft. This whole thing killed her. Cassie so badly wanted to just see Jacey and hold him in her arms. But he probley hated her so much for leaveing him alone with their daughter. "I'm sorry.." She mumbled.

Kirsten listened silently to everything that Cassi was saying. She honestly didn't know what to say. She listened to what Cassie was saying about the dreams, and how it reminded her about the time with her parents. Kirsten didn't in fact remember, it was in her seventh year at Hogwarts. Another time when Cassie had suddenly and without warning left not to be heard from for months on end. But then again, Kirsten herself had disappeared at the same time, so she couldn't really say anything about that one. But five years? As Cassie's head hit the table, Kirsten instinctively reached out and stroked her hair as if to sooth Cassie like a small child. Kirsten couldn't help it, she had been a mother so long now that these things came naturally to her.
Kirsten herself knew what the effect of dreams could be. She herself had had many times when her dreams had come true and caused pain in her life. As Cassie raised her head from the table, Kirsten took her hand back. Looking her friend in the eyes, she saw the tears. Kirsten saw all the pain that these last few years had caused Cassie. She saw how much Cassie had missed Taylor and Jacey. "Her name is Taylor," Kirsten said her voice soft. "Taylor Sage. She's got her fathers blond hair, and your dark eyes," Kirsten smiled as she talked about her five year old little niece. "She and little Paisley have become the best of friends." Kirsten gave a small sigh.
"But It's not me you should be apologizing to," she said looking Cassie in the eyes. "Jacey has been hurt. You've hurt him, and I don't know how he will take the fact that you have come back. But I know he still loves you." Kirsten paused taking a deep breath. "I'm sure he won't deny you seeing your little girl," Kirsten said with a small smile. "But as to seeing him. I think he's just really confused. You left him with a small child to tend for and care for with no one's help. He's been through a lot, and he has a lot of trust issues." Kirsten sighed.
"You'll have to work at it. You're going to have to completely rebuild his trust in you before he''ll let you anywhere near him," Kirsten said at last. "But as I said, it's not me who you should be saying sorry to." Kirsten continued to look at Cassie. "Do you even know where they are now?" Kirsten asked knowing that Jacey had moved a few years back, and that Cassie may not know where he lived now.

It was so nice having Kirsten there again. Cassie remembered they were such trouble makers in school. That's how she had met Jacey was through Kirsten. But didn't date until years later. The past..how badly Cassie just wanted to turn back time to change everything. She felt bad for putting Jacey through all her crap. Then she heard about her little girl..Taylor.
"What a wonderful name..she must be so pretty." She sighed then smiling knowing that her daughter was friends with Kirstens daughter. It was so nice then she looked around. A few people were looking at her since her punched the table. Though she just glared at them and they looked away.
"I know I know I should talk to Jacey, but that's the scarest part. I love him so much and I shouldn't of gone, but I felt I needed to." Then she listened to the rest and felt even worse. Cassie had just left him there alone for 5 years. It was probley the worst thing that she had ever done. Worse then what she had done back in school. Then she wiped her eyes.
"He's probley forgotten what I look like. It has been 5 years maybe I do look different.." She said then thought and realized that she had no idea where Jacey was living now. "Wow..no I don't know where they live..maybe I shouldn't go. Maybe this was a bad idea coming back.." Cassie whispeared.[/color]

Kirsten nodded her head slowly.. "Trust me, I know what you mean. But you have to talk to him," Kirsten said with a knowing smile. "I know he still loves you," she said. "Despite everything, he still loves you with all his heart. It's just like I said. You shattered all his trust in you the day you left him." She gave a small sigh. "But that's all in the past." Kirsten said with a small smile. "What you have to do now is, be there. Be there for Taylor, and be there for Jacey. Show him how you feel. Show him that you still want to be with him." Kirsten smiled slightly thinking about her twin and how strong her had been. "He loves your baby girl with everything, and he'll do anything for her. Show him you want to be apart of her life. Of their life. And that you won't leave them again."
"I don't think her could forget what you look like." Kirsten said with a reassuring smile. "You haven't changed that much. Plus he's not that shallow as to just drop a girl soon after she's gone." Kirsten grinned as she subtly mocked her brother without his knowledge. "And why would he want to forget you?" Kirsten questioned an eyebrow arched slightly in question. "You've been a Major part of his - our life forever." Kirsten smiled. She had missed Cass, and she was glad she was back. But in all honesty, she wasn't sure how Jacey was going to take his wife's sudden return. Kirsten knew he would let Cass see Taylor, but she wasn't that sure how Jacey would react about Cassie once again being part of his life.
"He's moved back to Scotland," Kirsten said as Cassie said she didn't know where Jacey was now. "Umm.. no you don't!" Kirsten said with a sigh. "No more leaving. No more running. It is time to take a look at the big picture. Trust me, it's more than worth it. And I myself have thought about running a couple of times. But it's not possible. You have a baby girl who needs you. She needs a mother, and you can't deny her that. Not now, not ever." Kirsten looked Cassie in the eyes once again to show she was serious. "But yes, Jacey moved back to Scotland after the Poison Apple in was shut down. He lives in Scotland, but he's thinking of moving again because his job is in Romania taking care of the dragons."

Her heart lifted a bit knowing he still loved her, but it still worried her. All of her old habits of running away. Cassie's just so nervous about everything. She didn't know what to do still. Should she go see her husband and her daughter. Taylor probley didn't even know what she looked like. This would probley give the little one a shock of her life time. Cassie sighed then looked up at Kirsten.
"I know..I can't believe they closed his tavern..damn them." She said with hatred in her voice. "I should of been here damn it.." She said getting more and more upset with herself.
"I know I need to be there for them..but it doesn't matter i've been gone for 5 years Kirsten. I'm surprized he still loves me after all of this." Her voice went back to softness. "So back to Scotland...when should I go there to see them again. Should I go I mean..should I send notice i'm coming. Do I need to just surprize him and say 'hello hun i'm back after leaveing you for 5 year' I mean really uhh.."
She said then looked over a tthe bar tender. "A shot of firewhiskey over here please." She said then looking at her shot glass. Then put the drink down like she used to. "God I needed that.." She whispeared to herself then ordered another shot. "I'm a mess Kirsten..do you really think they need a person like me. I know Jacey thinks i'm great and important, but what about Taylor? I don't want her to be like me at all." She said with disgust at herself.

"Jacey is an odd guy," Kirsten said as Cassie said she was surprised that he still loved her after all of this. "Yes, you probably should have been here," Kirsten said not denying the fact that Cassie had missed probably the five most important years of her daughters life. "But what has happened has happened. You messed up. So what? It's time for a change, Kirsten said with s sigh. "Do you think that I've never messed up? Hell Cassie, no one is perfect." Kirsten was growing tired with Cassie's negativity. It was time for her to grow up, go see her husband and be in her daughters life. No more of this running away when things got hard. "Life isn't fair," Kirsten said with a sigh. "And by no means is it easy. You need to work for what you want. You can't run anymore Cass. You can't keep doing this to Jacey and Taylor. But mostly you can't keep doing this to yourself."
As Cassie asked when she should go see them, Kirsten thought about it for a minute. "As soon as you can Cass. Don't let more time slip away before you go. If you wait to long, you know you'll talk yourself out of going to see them and you'll never get to meet your daughter." Kirsten paused as she let her gaze travel around the tavern half expecting to see someone she knew. But she didn't Turning back to Cassie, Kirsten sighed. "And as for sending notice. Well that's completely up to you." Kirsten said. "If you think you should, then sure send him an owl. But if not, the ya. Just show up on his doorstep." Kirsten smiled slightly at the thought. It would be slightly amusing to see the look on her brothers face when he saw Cassie. But this is something Cassie needed to do by herself, and this was one time when Kirsten wasn't going to be there to cover her back.
Kirsten watched as Cassie ordered herself a shot of firewhiskey then another. She raised a questioning eyebrow but decided not to say anything. Do you think I want Paisley to be exactly like me?" Kirsten asked. "Hell that's the last thing I want. I don't want Paisley to make the same mistakes as me, but I know she's going to make her own. Just like Taylor." Kirsten looked down at her hands then back up at Cassie. "All you can do is try and show her the way. Try to get her to know what's right from whats wrong. And then you can only hope that she'll make the right decision." Kristen took a deep breath. "And plus she's been with Jacey for so long now. And I both know that he is generally pretty level headed - ok minus the Scottish temper. But he knows how to react in situations and make th right choices. And so far Taylor is a lot like her dad."

Cassie could tell Kirsten was getting mad at her for putting herself down. But she couldn't help herself sometimes. She was so used to doing this to herself that it was a habit. "I know your right everyone does make mistakes I just need to face the people I did them to." She said then sitting up a bit more.
"And I can't run away I can't just leave them behind." She said starting tosound more positive then before. This talk was good for her. To make her see that she needs to be here for everyone. That everyone needs her there to help them and they can help her.
Then she started to laugh a bit. "Oh dear god that's just what I need a mini Jacey, but a girl instead." She said laughing a bit more. Cassie was feeling so much better now then she looked around. Putting down her last shot. "So Scotland huh? Where about I think i'll just show up and see the look on his face." Her lips formed a smile then looked at her.
"God it's good to be back hehe."

Kirsten smiled as Cassie seemed to be getting more positive as she spoke. Maybe this was all she needed? Maybe all Cassie needed was someone to make her see that she wasn't the reason to everyones problems and she didn't need to run away when life got her down. Plus, she did have Jacey to turn to. And Kirsten knew Jacey loved Cassie more than the world and would be there for her no matter what. Even if Cassie had left him. But, Kirsten was just glad to see that Cassie was starting to feel more sure of herself. In all honesty, Kirsten could only take so much negativity in her day, and she didn't like to see Cassie when she was depressed? Is that a word Kirsten could use to describe her friend? Maybe Cassie was more.. Confused?
Running a hand through her blond hair Kirsten smiled. A small laugh passed through Kirsten slightly parted pink lips as Cassie joked. "Hey you know it could be a good thing," Kirsten suggested her mouth curved into a smile. Signaling to the bartender, Kirsten ordered herself a shot of firewhiskey, drank it, the ordered herself another. Hell, she hadn't been out in forever. And Brae had the kids. Why couldn't she have a bit of fun? Sure Brae would kill her if say she was to get drunk. But Kirsten was a big girl now. She could control herself... couldn't she? "Ay, Scotland," Kirsten said with a smile.
"He's about a block from the Old Fraser Manor," Kirsten said with a grin. She knew Cassie wouldn't know where that was, so she didn't bother giving directions. "857 Glide St," Kirsten said. Smiling, Kirsten once again letting her eyes travel around the tavern as if afraid someone was going to spring out at her any minute. "Well, I'm glad you're back," Kirsten said with a smile as Cassie said it was good to be back. "We've really missed you Cass."

"Yeah I know..I think it is a good thing." She said smiling. Then she ordered a few more firewhiskey's and drank them all down. Though it took a lot for Cassie to get rather tipsy. Plus she knew not to drink to much anymore. Not since she was gone that one night. She shook her head then smiled a bit hearing about the old Fraser house.
She remembered the winter she spent there. It was awesome even though Kirsten and Jacey would always fight. Cassie remembered also getting so ticked off she almost left.
Soon she started to laugh thinking about the past. "Remeber back in school. When I spent the week at your house over winter break. It was weird but so much fun." She said then leaning back in her chair. "Oh so that's the adress to my new home..is it just as big as the old one?"
She asked knowing when she spent the week that one time their house was so huge. Cassie got lost one time and had to have someone find her. Cassie laughed a bit more then ordered one last shot. Her dark eyes looked up at Kirsten. "I'm glad i'm back too." She said softly then laying her head on the glass.

Kirsten gave a small laugh as she pushed her long blond hair out of her blue eyes. "Well no matter how much Taylor is like her daddy, she loves him to death and will do anything for him,"Kirsten said with a smile as she remembered all the times Taylor had fallowed Jacey around. That girl went everywhere with her father. It was sort of like Brae and Paisley. Kirsten herself had never had a close relationship with her father so she found it so cute to see the two little girls and their daddy's. With a smile, Kirsten watched as Cassie ordered herself a few more drinks and she herself matched her friend shoot for shoot. She was no where near drunk yet, and it would take more than just a few shoots to get her there.
As Cassie mentioned the winter that she had spent a week at the old Fraser Manor, Kirsten covered her eyes with her hands and laughed. Did she remember? Oh yes she did. "Don't remind me," Kirsten said laughing. Uncovering her eyes, Kirsten looked back up at Cassie. "That winter was so bad. After you left Jacey and Brae got into another fight and I was sure Jacey wasn't going to stop until he killed Brae..." Kirsten trailed off remembering. "Jacey had some minor issues with me and Brae at that point in time. But I can't say I blame him. After all he was a bit over protective of me and perhaps him finding out I was pregnant wasn't the best right before Christmas." Kirsten shook her head slightly.
"Ay the new manor is just as big if not bigger," Kirsten said her Scottish accent become more pronounced as she talked. Not that it bothered her as much as it used to. Kirsten watched as Cassie ordered herself another shoot, and just for kicks, Kirsten did the same. Tilting her head back, Kirsten drank it all down. Putting the glass back on the counter, Kirsten noticed she was getting a nice little collection of shoot glasses. How many exactly had she had now? Who knew, she defiantly hadn't been counting. "Well then I suggest we go out and celebrate your return. We'll go to a club get supper drunk and see how many guys we can get. Not that we'll do anything with them. After all we are respectably married women now." Kirsten said this as she got up. "C'mon Cassie, we must go get changed so we can hit the town in style. Where shall we go though?"

Cassie was so glad that her daughter was the way she was. It made her beam with a bit of pride towards the whole thing. Just thinking about finally meeting her daughter made her happy. Then she laughed as they thought about the past.
"He started up again.." She sighed. "I told him not to but you know how men are now a days. And even back then they just never listen to women." Cassie started to laugh then looked around once more.
Soon Kirsten said that they should go out and try to get guys. Along with getting super drunk. At first it sounded like a bad idea, but then she had a good feeling about it. "Sure it sounds like a ball. Anyway it'll be fun to see how many guys just lose their minds looking at us." She laughed then got up and walked out the door.
"How about the place back in Ireland..remember the one that like had the sprinklers go off durning really fast songs.." She said then seeing that it was still raining out. "How about it..that place or somewhere else?" She asked smiling.
