Soft footsteps could be heard on the ground, the constant squishing giving her away. It had just stopped raining. The damp air was cool, and it seemed almost like the calm before the storm. However, it was anything but calm. A strong wind had picked up earlier that morning. This was the perfect day to head up to the Shrieking Shack.
That is exactly what Chastity was doing. As she neared the Shack the "Keep Out" sign creaked in the wind. This is uaually a warning for people, but to Chasty, it was an invitation. She had heard the stories about the Shack, and how it got its name, but that only made her want to go in more.
Now, this wasn't the first time in the Shack. No way. She had been there many times since childhood. Far more times than one would have liked to think. HOwever, she wasn't the only one who came up there, you could tell by the many other footstep paths that led to the Shack itself. So, here Chasty was, nearing the Shack. This was the perfect day for scaring some porr, unfortunate soul, out of their misary. That was just what Chasty planned on doing.

Mark pulled up his jacket and shivered in the cold wind. He really didn't know why he was outside, when he could be inside, drinking hot chocolate near a warm, cozy fire. Shoving the thought about warmth to the back of his head he quickened his pace. Just when he'd left the warmth of the castle it had started raining. Haird. So now, he was soaked. His idea had been to go up to the Shack and try and enter it through the other way. Being a Weasley, he, of course, knew about the secret passageway through the willow, but he wanted to try and get in from the other side.
At least, that had been the original plan. Now, he was just cold and he wanted to turn back. Sighing he walked the last few yards towards the Shack. He looked up, surprised to see he wasn't the only one at the Shack on this cold day. He made his way over, his hands tucked deeply in his pockets to warm them up, and stopped in front of the other person. He'd seen her around at school, but he had never really spoken to her. He got one hand out of his pocket and gave her a small wave.
''Eh.. hi. What're you doing out here?'' Mark asked the girl, curious. He stomped his feet in order to warm then and he quickly put his hand back in his pocket.

It wasn't long before Chasty could hear footsteps coming frm the direction she had come in. She quickly turned around, causing her long wet hair to hit her face. This in turn cause water to off her hair and drip down her face. Fussing with her hair to get it off her face she knoticed that there was now a boy standing near her.
He too was soaked through to the skin, which didn't surprise her in the least. She watched as he took his hand out of his pocket, waved, and replace his hand back into his pocket. Much good that would do to keep it warm. He also spoke. ''Eh.. hi. What're you doing out here?'' Hmm, how to respond to that one? Just come out and say 'scaring poor defensless firsties, and you?'? No way, she couldn't do that. For now she would play the responsible one, who's just out for a walk, ya.
"Umm...I just got sick of being indoor and decided to come out for a walk." Hopefully that would work. "And what about you? Can't say its the best weather to be out and about."

Mark chuckled at what the girl said. He couldn't imagine someone being sick from being indoors with this weather, but he shrugged it of. It's not as if it mattered.
''No, the weather isn't exactly nice. But it was okay when I left the castle, I didn't really see it coming'' he replied, shrugging. He didn't care about rain or anything, but being soaked wasn't exactly something he liked. He sighed and turned to look at the Shack. Now how was he going to try and get in? This girl would probably think he was crazy if he tried. But hey, since when did he care what other thought?
''Anyway, I was going to try and see if I can get in the Shack from this side'' he therefore said, turning his gaze back at the girl, looking at her expectantly, wondering what she would say.

Chasty stood and watched the boy as he spoke about how he couldn't see the rain coming. How could you not expect it? When she left the castle it looked as if it was doomed to downpour. However, Chasty just shrugged it off, maybe the boy just couldn't taste the dampness in the air, or see the grey clouds approaching.
Then the boy spoke about trying to get into the shack from this side. "A little inexpeirienced are we?" She asked curiously. "Of course you can get into the shack from this side. I do it all the time."

Mark looked at the girl curiously when she said she went into the Shack from this side all the time. She didn't seem like the kind of girl that would just enter a shack that was believed to be haunted.
''I don't think you should say I'm inexperienced. I might not have entered it from this side, but that doesn't mean I haven't been inside yet'' Mark pointed out, knowing that would probably surprise her. Not a lot of people knew about the secret passageway underneath the Whomping Willow, and Mark was quite sure that this girl wasn't one of the people that did know about it.
''Well, if you do it all the time, would you mind showing me? I haven't actually been looking for an entry, so it's not that strange I haven't found one yet'' he then said, looking at the girl expectantly, wondering if she was going to show him.

"Then let me guess, you went the Willow way? Pathetic." Chasty rolled her eyes. This boy has to have gone the willow way. There weren't many ways into the Shack, and thats the way you should go only if you want to sneak off the school grounds. For example, a little bit of firewhiskey before a Hogsmead weekend.
Chasty looked the boy over as he asked her to show him the way into the Shack. Chasty took a few mo ments to think. If she took the time out to show the boy how to get in, she would seem nicer. However, she would also lose the entertainment factor of watching the boy try to get in himself. Sadly, the nice won.
"Fine. On one condition though. You tell no one it was me." That would work. Chastity could keep up her rep, and help the boy out. Ok, not really help, just, let him not look like a pathetic boy figuring out how to get in.

Mark raised his eyebrows when the girl mentioned the Willow way. He raised them higher when she said that was pathetic. The passageway under the Whomping Willow was supposed be a secret to any outsiders of the Weasley clan and friends, seeing as it was a Marauder secret. But Mark shrugged it of, though he did want to know how she ever found out about that passageway.
''How did you find out about that? If it was by accident you must be really stupid, no offense but, going near the Whomping Willow and experimenting with hitting different knots would seem pretty... dumb.'' He shrugged again and then he smiled at the girl as she agreed with showing him the way in from this side.
''I won't tell anyway'' he said, holding up his hand as if he was swearing. He was slightly curious as to why she wanted no one to know it was her, but he figured it was probably some stupid Slyth helping a Gryff issue.
''Lead the way.''

"Oh ya, I'm dumb enough to go and randomly hit knots on the Willow tree. Come on, it fights back!" Chastity shook her head. "Lets just say I was walking towards it when I saw someone there dodging the branches, getting closer, then hit a knot. Its not too hard to figure it out from there." She shrugged simply. Honestly, once you see someone getting closer, pressing a certain knot, and disappearing, its rather hard to forget.
Chastity nodded when the boy said he wouldn't tell anyone. "Good. I don't want anyone, especially my aunt and uncle, to think I went soft on some stupid boy." She shook her head, as if agreeing with herself. "I got a bit of a rep to protect, you know?"
She began walking towards the Shack after a few seconds, then she paused and looked back at the boy. "So, why do you want to get to the Shack this way, when the Willow way is so much easier? Besides, most people are scared to go this way. Noises can be heard that creep them out."
((sorry its taken so long to reply, life got in the way ><))

Mark frowned at what Chastity said, wondering who she'd seen entering the passageway. It was common knownledge to him that most of the Weasleys and Potters knew about the passageway and as far as he knew, not a lot of others knew about it. He wondered which one of the Weasleys she had seen, but he soon shook the thought from his head. It wasn't that important anyway.
He then rolled his eyes as she talked about him being a 'stupid little boy' and that she had a reputation to keep. He had to stop himself from snorting at that, so he just rolled his eyes again. She was being ridiculous. A reputation? What about him then? He was a Weasley hanging out with a Slytherin. But did he care about anyone seeing him? Not really. He looked up when she said something else.
"So, why do you want to get to the Shack this way, when the Willow way is so much easier? Besides, most people are scared to go this way. Noises can be heard that creep them out."
He thought for a second before he shrugged. He wasn't really afraid of the Shack, seeing as it was just a old, oversized shed to him.
''I want to get to the Shack this way, 'cause then I can enter it over the breaks, and not only when I'm at school. And I'm not exactly scared of going this way. The noises stopped when a certain werewolf graduated Hogwarts, so that's bullsh*t'' he replied, shrugging again. Then he quickly followed her and waited for her to show the way.
