Name: Filius Flitwick
Other Accounts on the Site: Percy
Cannon Character: Yes
Plot: Flitwick, Head of Ravenclaw House is one of the few long-standing Hogwarts Professors.
Age and Birthday: (erm, help?)
Blood line: Human with a "dash" of Goblin blood
Sex: Male
Standing: Order Member
Job: Head of Ravenclaw House, Charms Professor - Hogwarts
Pet: None
Broom: Would he be able to handle one!? None.
Personality: Often described as a Gentle teacher, Sometimes he is often overlooked (Literally, aswell as figuratively) and so underestimated. When you'd expect the snoty-type of student to talk down to him, he therefore surprises since even those students talk to him with respect.
He is also quite emotional. after over 20 years of teacher, when the Chamber of Secrets was open and Ginny Weasley, a first year at the time, was taken into it, he burst into tears. Throughout the years, he has perhaps been the most human of the 4 Head of Houses due to his emotional personality.
History: When he was young, he was a skilled duellist, and won a Duelling tournament 3 times in a row before 'retiring' from the sport.
From there, he learned all he could about teaching before becoming the Charms professor in 1968. in 1975, after only 7 years teaching, he became the Head of Ravenclaw House, and he has served in that role for the last 40 years.
Strengths: He is very very good at charms, as demonstrated by his youth, when he won duelling tournaments. Alo, due to his height, in combat, he is hard to hit. Despite his size, he is also very magically powerful.
Weaknesses: His emotions, or rather, his lack of control of them. Sometimes, his emotions get the better of him, be it from happiness or sadness. Also, his size is sometimes a weakness, rather then strength. For instance, when teaching, he needs to stand on a stack of books to look over his desk. from which he is knocked off several times throughout each year by the 1st years.

Post Example:
Filius looked around at his class of 7th year Hufflepuff and Slytherins. "Welcome, to your Final year of Charms. This year, we will be learning to cast multiple charms, without the need to concentrate on each as they happen. For Instance," Filius levitated a dirty book over to him, and it cleaned itself as it arrived on his desk and opened to a seemingly random page. His wand had stayed pointed at it the entire time. "Here, I cast Wingardium Leviosa, intending it to float to my table and settle nicely there, cast Scourgify, the Cleaning Charm and finally the book opening Charm, intending to go to page 284. You all know that charm from last year, so please, without touching your books, put them on the desks infront of you and open to Page 284. Silently, if you can manage it."
Filius looked around again, seeing them try to do both spells at once causing the books to drop and slam open to the wrong page. "Quite difficult isn't it?" he asked once they all had the books in the right place open to the right page.
"Now, When i cast a levitation charm, I have in mind where i want the object I'm floating to be. I put enough power into the spell and trust the magic to do as I told it to, and proceed onto casting the next spell. Everyone Understand?"
A few students put their hand up.
"Yes, Miss Mcpherson?"
"It's like spells we use in Defence, once cast, its still there but we are only needed to concentrate at the start, and only the start."
"I suppose... Yes, excellent example Miss Mcpherson. 5 points to Hufflepuff.
"Now, as Miss Mcpherson said, try to levitate your books to the person on your right, with the intention for it to calmly float over and gently settle down infront of them. But, once it is off the desk, let go of the spell, and trust the spell to do as you want it to."

I agree that I will follow the rules of A New Era. I will not disagree with what one of the staff members has told me to do. I will respect the other members of the site. I will post with detail and over one paragraph. I will not Godmode. If I do any of these things, I will accept what the staff decides.
By writing your Characters name here, you agree to all of the above, and to follow both the rules of this board and proboards.
I, Filius Flitwick agree to all these terms, and will follow the rules.
