It was a Monday morning, about three weeks before school was to start and yet again Hailey found herself alone with Hannah. She didn't know the reason for this, and she hadn't talked to her friends or even seen them for about a month now. Maybe it was because they were all out having fun somewhere while she had to stay home and take care of her five month old daughter. Hailey sat in the middle of her bed, with Hannah lying in front of her. As she changed her diaper and put on a little outfit, she thought about all the things she needed to do today, oh wait there was none. She had nothing planed for today, so there for she was free to wonder about.
As Hailey finished getting Hannah ready, she let her stay in the middle of her bed, watching her at all times while she herself put a pair of jean and a blue shirt on. Brushed her teeth, and pulled her long blond hair up into an elastic. Grabbing her purse and slipping into her shoes, they were both ready to her out the door. Placing Hannah in the stroller that her mother had brought her, they headed out the door and out into the streets.
Hailey mad her way into the center for town, where there was more to do, and much more to see then if she had stayed in the little village like area she lives in. Hannah was sound asleep in the stroller, and she didn't mind the peacefulness. Hail had walked these streets so many times, she could walk them with her eyes closed and know exactly where she was. As they continued their way down the streets, Hailey saw people with their friends having a great time, smiled on their faces from ear to ear. People holding hands sharing ice cream, and then there was her. A seventeen year old pushing a stroller down the street. But didn't care, she knew she had made a mistake and it may have but a stop to some of her dreams, but she wouldn't change anything for the world. She loves Hannah, and in a big way is thankful she's here.
As Hailey passed one of the little shops she loves to shop in, she looked in the window to see if they had gotten anything knew. By the looks of things they still had the purse she spotted the other day, that she absolutely loved, but couldn't buy it at the time. And there was a few new things in the store, but she debated whether or not to wake Hannah up, just so she could look around in her favorite little shop.

The day seemed a bit slower than it usually did for her. For a weekday, London sure seemed calm, that's for sure. It seemed like everyone has dissappeared over the weekend and no one wanted to come out today. Airalynn, though, decided she would. She would wander until she found something interesting enough to buy or something like that. For a Monday it sure seemed boring, and she hadn't seen her friends in a while, yet she couldn't seem to find them. School was almost starting so she assumed at least one of her friends would be out and about, but that's not how it turned out to be.
Aira walked down the streets anyway, looking into the small shops, and finding many things that she really liked, but she had to save her money for school supplies, so she tried not to buy anything big. She walked down, silently, and she could here the backs of her jeans drag on the ground, but that was okay because she liked them that way. She adjusted her light pink top and made her way on.
As she got to a small shop she saw a girl standing outside the window. With a brief rememberance she could recall seeing her at school, and also know that they were in the same year. She though, could vaguely remember what house she was in, but as she started thinking about it she remembered Ravenclaw. She was shocked though, because she could have never guessed that someone so young as her could have a child. Perhaps it wasn't hers and she was babysitting? No, couldn't be, the child looked almost identical to her.
She made her way over, trying to figure out what to say, when the girl looked plainly in need of help, well, to Aira anyway. She tried not to startle her by any means and just simply and casually walked forth and to the shop, trying not to look desperate to talk to someone. She smiled a sweet smile, looked up from the ground and stopped right infront of the girl. "Hey, you're Hailey... right?" She asked.

As she stood there lookign in the window of the shop, Hailey found herself wanting to go in more then she realised, but she didn't want to have to wake up the baby. Hearing someone apporche her, Hailey turned around slowly with a smile on her face. She knew the girl from around school, they had some classes together over the years, she was in Hufflepuff if she could remember correctly. "Hey, that i am," she said with a smile. " and you're...Airalynn, if i'm not mistaken." she said pretty sure she got it right.
Hailey stood there looking at the girl with a smile on her face, occasionaly looking down at her baby girl. She was waiting for the all so famous question from the girl, was the baby her's or what. Everyone lately that she bumpped into asked her that, she was getting used to it. Hailey didn't care what people thought of her because she had Hannah, people have their oppinions and she has hers.
"Nice day, isn't it. Not to crowded like it is on the weekends." she stated, trying to start a conversation. Aira was the first person she'd seen in a while, almost since school ended. Hailey looked back down at Hannah, then back up to Aira. Standing there quietly as she wanted for her to say something, or maybe for Hannah to wake up.

She smiled as the girl took a guess at her name and finally nodded when she had it right. "Yeah, but just call me Aira." She smiled. "I don't really like my name much." She laughed. She could see the girl look down at the child and back at her many times and eventually she kneeled down and took to baby's hand. She was sure not to wake her up though. "She so adorable." She smiled. "How old is she?" She wondered, waiting for an answer. "What's her name?"
She tried staying away from too many question, for she knew she wouldn't even like that. She smiled and stood back up, eyeing the girl warily and realizing that she seemed rather tired to her, or maybe she just looked that way. Overall it seemed like a good day, but she couldn't help but have a strange feeling in the back of her mind that something bad was going to happen. For some reason she seemed to always have this feeling.
She listened closely to what Hailey had asked her and she smiled. "No, you're the first person from school that I've seen all day." She laughed. "Where is everyone?" She asked, and then realizing that she probably didn't have an answer either. Aira smiled again and with a relaxed voice asked "How was your summer?"

As she told her to simply call her Aira because she doesn't like her name much, Hailey gave a little laugh. "Ok, i can do that." she smiled. Hailey watched as she took hold of Hannah's hand, though it didn't wake her up, she was used to people touching her when she's asleep almost everyone does. Listening to all the questions she'd asked her, Hailey was more then happy to answer them. "Thanks, " she said in reply as Aira said she's adorable. "Her name is Hannah, and she's five months old." she answered her questions with a smile. Most people would think that having a child this young would ruin your life, but Hailey didn't mind having a baby around, it kept her occupied and she loves her.
Hails laughed as she did. It was true, she was also the first person she'd seen from school today, and perhaps for the past month. Looking around she spotted a bench on the other side of the square. "Hey, would you like to come and sit down with me?" she asked hoping she would. "You can hold Hannah if you'd like, and maybe we could talk for a bit." Hailey liked that idea, and hoped Airalynn would too.
She began to walk toward the bench slowly as she heard her last question. 'my summer' she thought to herself. "My summers been ok, i guess." she started. "it's been rather quiet and lonely though." she admitted. Reaching the bench Hailey sat down and looked at Hannah with a smile. Deciding she didn't care if she woke her up or not, she reached in and gently took her out. "I haven't seen much of anyone this summer, and i haven't really talked to much people from school this summer either." she continued.
"Ever since my dad kicked me out, things have been way different." she said then looked down at Hannah, then back up at Aira. "Would you like to hold her?" she asked with a smile.

She listened closely to Hailey and seemed rather surprised that her child was only five months. When Hailey offered to sit down with her she smiled generously and replied. "I'd love to." She walked over slowly with her, shiffling her feet as she walked and listened closely to her talk about everything, suddenly she stopped.
She listened to her talk baout her summer and everything that has happened. "My summer was pretty much boring too. I didn't really do much, mostly wrote my stories and such. I love writing." She smiled. "It's my life." She then sat down ont he bench with Hailey and lost her smile when she mentioned her father. "Oh... my father... threw me out too." She sighed. "I tried over and over to make him understand what had happened between us, but it was no use. He practically dissappeared.
When she realized what Hailey has really said about her father she finally came to the conclusion that, yes, Hannah was her daughter. She felt a sort of pain in her stomach from a certain spring of jealousy. At least she had someone to hold, yes it's true that she didn't talk barely, but at least it was someone. Aira, on the other hand had no one. When she was offered to hold her and she shook her head. "Oh, no no no, I couldn't possibly. I really don't want to wake her." She said gently. "So, where do you live now?" She wondered.

Hailey held Hannah close as she listened to Aira tell her about her summer. At least she wasn't the only one that had had a boring summer. As Aira talked about her father, Hailey couldn't help but to think about her own. " Well my father didn't even want anything to do with me since the day i was born. He only believes in having sons, so that his name will be cared through more generations. In a way i'm glad he kicked me out, i was going to leave after this year was done anyways." she told Aira.
Hails smiled as she said she didn't want to wake her. "Trust me it's ok, she sleeps through a lot, you wont wake her, and if she wakes up i can't take her back. It's fine really, i don't want her to sleep all day anyways." she smiled, reassuring her that it was ok if Hannah woke up.
Hearing her question, Hailey smiled. "I live in this little flatt my mom bought me when my dad kicked me out. She does a lot for me behind my dad's back, and i'm thankful for having her as my mom. It's in a little village like area not to far from here actually. Theres these old ladies that live next to me, and they're so cute, and helpful, i love them. I probably wouldn't be where i am today if it weren't for them. They offered to watch Hannah for me when ever i need them too, and when i go back to school they said they'd take care of her." she said, Hailey had to stop herself, otherwise she would go on and on for ever. "Where, do you live now?" she asked, remember that she had mentioned she was also kicked out.

She couldn't help but smile as she talked about her dad because the more Hailey talked the more she realized what they had in common. Her head swarmed with past memories as she suddenly became very dizzy and crossed her legs into a lotus position and sat upon the bench. She sighed. "I really wish my dad would let me talk to him, but he fled his residence, and now I have no idea where he is."
She smiled as Hailey mentioned about it being nearly impossible to wake her daughter, and with a smile Aira obliged. She took Hannah carefully and cradled her within her arms. "She's so light." She said softly. "It must be really nice, having the responsibilty of a life and realizing every day that she's a gift." She said lightly. "I'm glad she has a good mother though." She smiled.
She listened gently as Hailey told her about her mother and all the stuff she does for her. She smiled, but it was a forced smile and then she gently let out everything that she kept bottled up inside. "My mother died." She said calmly. "She got really sick and when she was on her deathbed I got my letter to Hogwarts. I'm muggle-born, so my dad immediately assumed that I killed her, but I would never do that. I loved my mother." She said sadly.
She took a deep breath. "Being a muggle he assumed that magic is evil, because of that stupid holiday called Halloween. I hate how they assume the worst!" She growled. "I had no place to go, my mother was dead and my father left me on the streets. I got picked up by some really wacky bus that night and they took me to Hogwarts where the Headmaster allowed me to help the elves int he kitchens. He paid me well, and by my fifth year I had enough to live on my own, but I was still so young." She smiled. "The infamous family of Weasleys took me in." She smiled once again. "And I've been living there ever since."

As she took Hannah from her arms, she smiled as she watched Aira hold the little girl. "Thanks, " she stated as she called her a good mother, " but i don't know if I'd go that far, i mean, how responsible am i for having her at such a young age?" she stated, but her smile was still playing on her lips. "Aira, you're welcome to stop by our house anytime you wish. It'd be a nice change to have other people around once and a while." she told her, and she meant it.
Listening to Aira talk about her mother, Hailey felt bad for bring the topic up. "Oh, " she said barely about a whisper. "I'm sorry, i had no idea." she continued then just stop talking about that completely. Hailey listening to her talk more, it was nice talking to someone who could actually talk back to you. She knew the Weasley's well not personally, but she knew of them, and they're ways. Her father wasn't to fond of them, mainly because they're order members, but she didn't care. She didn't like to pick sides. "The Weasley's, they're nice people, so I've heard, never actually met them though." Hailey said as she looked at he sleeping baby in the arms of her friend.
"So Aira," she started with a bit of a devious smile. "Do tell me who you are liking these days," she asked curious to know, and because it was something all girls loved to talk about, boys. Hailey smiled as she waited for her to respond. "And you can't say no one, because i know that's no true, how can you not like someone at least a little bit." she continued to smile.

She smiled as she listened to Hailey talk about having a child at such a young age. She just shook her head. "Honestly, age doesn't matter to me. How much you love the child and not waste it's life is how I look at the situation. I mean look around you and at all the people with children, do you think they mattered about age? Accidents don't happen, Hails," she smiled. "But miracles do." She smiled a reassuring smile. "Don't beat yourself up about your age, most gals around your age that have children abandon them, which is totally and completely barbaric. You, though, have a heart." She smiled.
She felt bad for talking about her mother because she didn't mean to make anyone feel sorry for her, but she figured she should tell her how she wound up at the Weasley's. "Yeah," She agreed. "They're wonderful people." She laughed shaking her head at all the memories that came back to her mind. "That's one big family of pranksters, that is, but I love them all the death. I mean I was a mute when I left my home, and felt bad about invading another's home, but Molly's grandson Mark helped me alot to be myself." She laughed. "I am no longer scared to stand up to my father, and I've been hoping to, but I can't find him." She shook her head again. "I will someday though, I will not give up hope."
She rocked Hannah back and forth very gently and suddenly she stopped. She almost choked on her own breath as she turned. "Li...like someone?" she asked shaking her head. "I don't really know people." She stated. "It's rather complicated, so I don't think I like anyone." She laughed. "I know you say I must, but honestly I can't think of one." She said finally thinking about it. She shook her head. "Love isn't something I want to get tangled up in." She laughed.

Hailey was enjoying Aira's company, it was a nice change to have someone around to talk to. Well, she has Hannah, but someone who actually talks back. Listening to what she was saying about how age doesn't matter, made her really think. In a way it was so true, but in another she liked to believe that age does still matter. People would not think of her the same way. Her friends have already managed to not talk to her as much since Hannah came into the picture, but like Aira said, she has a heart, and would never abandon the little girl, after all she is her responsibility, and no one else's. "I guess you're right, but still. If i was older i would probably be way more mature about this whole situation, then i am now, but i wouldn't change anything i have right now, for the world." she smiled at the thought.
Laughing slightly at what Aira said about the Weasley's, she couldn't have agreed more. But if they weren't the way they were, the world would be a very boring place, especially in class, during the school year. Hearing Aira talk about not giving up hope, made her smile once again. "I like to hear that, don't ever give up, otherwise you'll never get anywhere." she reassured her friend. "For the first few months, i just felt like giving up, but there was something inside of me that just wouldn't let me." she looked at her baby girl in the arms of her friend, and smiled. She looked so cute, and was glad she was apart of her life.
Laughing slightly, Hails had to agree. "Don't blame ya, " she said, "Love can be very complicated, but i guess you'll find Mr. right some day, i know you will." she smiled up at her friend. "But my goal this year at school, is to introduce you to people then, and I'm not letting you say no to it, so there." she smiled and gently stuck her toung out at her friend in a joking matter. "I dout any guy will like me, especially once everyone finds out about Hannah, i bet they'll all laugh at me and call me a slut, but I'm not afraid of it, i don't care what they think anymore." Hailey told her, then crossed her legs as they continued to sit on the bench.

She suddenly did not want to leave the scene, for she got the impression that Hailey did not only want some one to talk to, but needed someone too. Aira did not judge her because she had a child, but she was sure that others did. Honestly, to her, age didn't matter. Airalynn couldn't understand how some people could be so cold hearted and laugh it up when this poor innocent mother and daughter needed more help then those gave them credit for. A baby had changed Hailey's life, and she understood why it would, but just because it changed Hail's life didn't mean that it should change any others. Her friends must have walked out on her at one point and Aira had no idea to reasons why except that they were heartless. "I think you are very mature about the situation. Number one thing into maturity is acceptance." She said gently rocking the child. "And I can see by this young ones face that you love her dearly."
Talking about her dad and also listening to Hailey's stories made her think. She was blessed that at least she had other people to turn to, but she had no one. She smiled once she got an idea. "Hails, if you ever need someplace to stay or something goes wrong, I know who can help you. She's a little crazy and tons of fun, but she would never back down from helping you. She's had children of her own and they all turned out fine... well... except that they are all a little insane, but who isn't these days?" She laughed, thinking again and finding her plan a little more brilliant each second. "I'll send her a note about you if you'd like, she'd love to help!"
She listened to Hailey talk about Mr. Right and laughed. "I'm not looking for a Mr. Right... I'm looking for a Mr. Write." She laughed. "See, I'm a writer and all the guys that I've had prior crushes on think it's stupid. Especially one of my good friends... well... she used to be." She sighed. "She was a brilliant girl. She was generous, lovable, kind and then she met that damned Slytherin boy and now she wants to be a Death Eater." She said, covering the baby's ears as she spoke. "I wish this war was over. Even though He has fallen... it's not over. They still want revenge." She uncovered the poor dear's ears. "If only young Hannah could grow up and have nothing to fear." She said sadly.
