Mark was strolling along Diagon Alley, a bit bored. He walked towards the Quidditch Shop to see if there were any new models, and entered the shop. After a couple of minutes he left the shop again, disappointed to find there weren't any new models. He sighed as he made his way over to Fortesque's Ice Cream Parlour and sat down at a table, ordering a chocolate sundae.
He scanned the streets around him, wondering if any of his friends were around. He had been helping his dad in the joke shop, but it wasn't really busy today, so he'd decided to take a walk along Diagon Alley. Now, he was bored. He sighed again as he started his icecream.

Having nothing better to do with her time, Madi had decided to spend the day shopping in Diagon Alley. It wasn't her ideal place to spend the holiday, but it was better then sitting at home alone all day complaining that she was bored. Dressed in Muggle attire, Madi wore a pair of short light jean shorts that were slightly tattered around the edges, and a white strapless tub top. Her long hair was pulled up into an elastic with stray pieces of dark brown hair falling out to frame her small face. Wandering slowly, the small girl slowly made her way from shop to shop. Some she went in and other's she by passed with a simple glance in the window.
With a small sigh, the tiny brunette scanned the faces that passed by her. She was hoping on seeing someone she knew. Someone ho would be able to save her from her boredom. Blinking, Madi absentmindedly pushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. Turning left down the next street, Madi suddenly spotted a familiar face. Mark Weasley. He was in her year at Hogwarts, but a Gryffindor. Smiling, Madi made her way over to him. He would probably think she was a bit strange, but that was ok. "Hey," Madi said simply coming up beside him. Smiling up at him, she let herself fall into step next to him. "What's up?" She asked actually wanting to know.

Mark finished his icecream, throwing the plactic cup that it was in in a nearby trashcan without any difficulty. He almost jumped when he suddenly heard a voice from beside him. He turned his gaze towards the girl, who he recognized as Madison Roberts, a Ravenclaw from his year. They'd shared some classes, but they weren't really friends. He returned her smile and gave her a small wave.
''Hi Mads'' he said, putting his hands in his pockets. He listened to her question and then shrugged.
''Nothing much. I was helping dad in the shop earlier, but I got bored, so I'm just wandering the alley'' Mark then said, grinning faintly. He'd always liked helping his dad in the Joke Shop, but it did get really boring when there were no costumers.
''How 'bout you? Done anything worth mentioning lately?'' he asked, turning attention back to the Ravenclaw girl.

Madi grinned as Mark mentioned the joke shop. She herself had spent many times in there trying to figure out what neat invention she would use next as on of her many big pranks. Madi was naturally a mean person. Actually quite the opposite was true, it was just Madi sometime found herself being pushed around by people with more authority than her, and ended up doing what they wanted instead of what she wanted. Sort of like the fact, Madi had grown up in a house hold that was known for their certain beliefs, but Madi wasn't sure if she really thought what her parents thought was true any more. If that made any sense.
As Mark mentioned becoming bored of being in the joke shop, Madi gave a small giggle of mirth. It sounded almost exactly like her sad story. Only Madi wasn't quite sure how one could become bored in a joke shop. "That's hard to imagine getting bored in a joke shop," Madi said softly voicing her thoughts. But as she thought about it, Madi actually started to picture what it would be like, and figured it would actually be somewhat boring if no one went into the shop.
Considering this, Madi gave a small quiet sigh at Mark next question. What had she been doing? Watching her baby brother? Well that wasn't very interesting. She had spent most of her summer wandering the streets, much like she was doing today, and that defiantly wasn't exciting. Bitting her bottom lip, the small brunette thought about her summer break.
"Nothing really," Madi said after a moment. "My life is rather boring," she joked looking up at Mark with a small smile. "Ummm.." Madi paused trying to think. "The only think I did this summer was speand two weeks with my uncle in Ireland" Madi confessed with a small laugh. "Wow, my life sure seems exciting," she said more or less to herself with a small laugh. Shaking her head, Madi smiled, there was nothing really to say about her summer. In all honesty, it had been rather boring.

Mark shook his head and grinned when Madi said it was hard to imagine someone getting bored in a Joke Shop.
''Well, seeing as I practically grew up there, and there weren't any costumers at all, it can get quite boring'' he reasoned, scanning the streets and looking at the different products in the shops as Madi talked about her vacation. He turned to smile at her when she stopped talking.
''I'm sure it's not that bad. And if your live's boring, you can come by at the Joke Shop anyday, usually it isn't as boring as it used to be. My life isn't what you could call boring'' he told her, grinning and shaking his head.
Being a Weasley could hardly be considered boring. His family was so big, that there was always someone around, and most of his cousins liked pranking or playing Quidditch or something, it was just never boring. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, looking at Madi with a grin on his face.
''Or you could just drop by at the Burrow. I'll garantee you it's never boring there. It's just impossible to be boring there, there're so many Weasleys around there.'' He stopped to look at the display in Madam Malkins, and chuckled when he imagined one of his cousins wearing a particulartly frilly dress. Then Mark turned back to Madi and started walking again.
''So, is there anyplace special you wanna go and check out?''

Madi smiled as Mark said he was sure her life wasn't that bad. "If you think so," she said with a grin. "Anytime you want to take on my life, you're more than welcome," she said. "As to stopping by the joke shop? Don't worry I will," she said with a devious grin. Whenever Madi went into the Joke shop, she always came out with a new gadget of some sort.
Pushing a piece of stray hair away from her eyes, Madi continued to walk next to Mark. Although they didn't know each other out side of the few classes that they shared, Madi had to admit, he was good company, and a lot more fun to be around than her brother and sister. Whom she rarely saw anyways.
At this thought, Madi thought about her family. Mark was probably really close to his whole family, but Madi on the other hand. She was always trying to find a reason to leave the house, or an excuse not to hang around with her siblings. She knew it was selfish of her, but she never found that she and her sister or brother had anything in common. She was the complete opposite of them.
Madi giggled slightly at Mark's next comment. Stopping as he looked at the display in the window of Madam Malkins. Stealing a glance herself, Madi grinned. "Well I may have to take you up on your offer," Madi said. She'd never been to the Burrow before and she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like. Sure it would busy with life. Madi grinned at the thought, and she didn't think it would ever be possible for it to be boring - not with that many people running around. As Mark turned back to face her and started walking again, Madi came to the surface of her thoughts. She smiled up at him.
''So, is there anyplace special you wanna go and check out?''
Madi bit her bottom lip. She didn't really know where she wanted to go, or what she wanted to do. "Hmmm.." She mumbled in thought. "I dunno," Madi answered after a couple of seconds. "Where to you suggest we go?" She questioned. In all honesty, Madi really didn't care where they went. She'd been wandering around by herself for the past hour and a bit, and it was just nice to have someone to talk to. Waiting for his answer, Maddi continued to smile.

Mark grinned as Madi said she might have to take him up on the offer of visiting the Burrow. He shook his head and kept grinning.
''Well, I'm used to the busy live in the Burrow, but it might come as a bit of a shock to an outsider'' he said, picturing the surprised faces of some non-Weasley people entering the Burrow when they first visited. Most friends of the family were used to it by now, but some were still shocked at how busy it always is.
He thought for a minute when she asked what he suggested. He honestly didn't know, but apparently, neither did she, so he would just have to think of something. Then an idea came to him, and a smile appeared on his face.
''If you wan't, I can show you around the Joke Shop. If my dad thinks it's okay, I can take you into the back and show you the 'lab' where my dad and Uncle Fred experiment with their products. You might see some prototyes'' Mark suggested, raising his eyebrows at her and grinning innocently. He always liked messing around in the lab himself, and he'd even helped developing some of the products himself.
Though the more interesting experiments were those with a reaction that wasn't expected. He remembered one time in particular, when his uncle Fred had almost blown up the entire shop. He chuckled at the memory and shook his head. That had certainly been fun. Then he turned back to Madi, blowing his hair from his eyes seeing as it had fallen in them.
''So, what d'ya think? Good idea or not?''

''Well, I'm used to the busy live in the Burrow, but it might come as a bit of a shock to an outsider'' he said.
"That's ok," Madi said smiling. "I'm used to shocking situations," the small brunette said shrugging her thin shoulders lightly. "But ya definitely, I think that would be fun. I don't think I've even ever been anywhere near the Burrow before," Madi confessed bitting her bottom lip again out of habit. As they continued to walk, Madi waited for Mark to suggest something that they could do. She couldn't help but wonder what he would say.
''If you want, I can show you around the Joke Shop. If my dad thinks it's okay, I can take you into the back and show you the 'lab' where my dad and Uncle Fred experiment with their products. You might see some prototyes''
Maid's eyes lit up as Mark suggested that he could show her around the Joke shop and take her to the back to see the lab. It sounded like the best idea, and she couldn't think of anything better to do. "Well so long as your dad is ok with it," Maddi said with a smile. Madi didn't have any idea if Mark's dad would be ok with it or not. After all she didn't really know him. The only time she had ever talked to either Fred or George Weasley was when she was at the Joke shop.
''So, what d'ya think? Good idea or not?''
"Of course I think that's a good idea," Madi said, her eyes flying open in surprise that he would even ask that. "Duh, that's probably the best idea I've heard in a long time," she said honestly laughing slightly knowing her answer may have been a tad on the dramatic side. Rolling her eyes slightly still smiling. Placing her small hands in the back pockets of her jean shorts, Madi smiled, she knew she could be rather dramatic at times, and she hoped Mark didn't think she was to strange because of that. Back hell, there was nothing she could do about that now. First impressions had been made a while ago, so what did it matter now?

Mark chuckled as Madi said she was used to shocking situations, and he couldn't help but wonder what kind of situations she could possibly be used to see. She seemed like a pretty quiet girl, so he didn't really understand. Shrugging the thought of he turned his attention back to Madi.
''Well, it's near Ottery St. Catchpole, maybe you've been there before'' he said when she mentioned never being near the Burrow before. Not a lot of people ever came near the Burrow, even if it was just because of them not knowing where it is of not being friends with the Weasleys. But Mark figured that was a good thing, 'cause if people knew where it was and if they knew how welcoming his grandmother was, the Burrow would be even more crowded.
''Oh, my dad won't mind. He's pretty easy-going'' he then said, when she said something about his dad being okay with it.
''My mum's the one that's more strict, but she's not that much into the Joke Shop.'' He shrugged and put his hands in his pockets again. He raised an eyebrow when her reaction to him suggesting to go to the Joke Shop seemed a bit to enthousiastic, but he just shook his head and laughed.
''Well, I guess that's settled then, up to Weasleys' Wizards Wheezes'' Mark then said, turning left and making his way towards the Joke Shop, hoping Madi would follow him.

Smiling, Madi noticed the confused look on Mark's face as she said she was used to shocking situations. Decided against telling him what she meant, Madi decided it would be best if she just let his imagination take over what she meant. Plus, she was at times pretty hard to understand, and she really didn't feel like bothering him with her life story. "I think I've been there, but I'm not really sure," Madi said as Mark told her where approximately the Burrow was located. "But I'll remember that for when I come to visit you," she added as an after thought.
Madi grinned as Mark said his dad was pretty easy going, but his mum was more strict. As he mentioned that his mum wasn't that into the whole Joke shop idea, Madi raised a questioning eyebrow but she decided against saying anything. As Mark laughed at her over enthusiastic answer, Madi smiled. "Ya... ummm," she said slowly giggling slightly herself. "I can be slightly over dramatic sometimes," she said a slight pink blush spreading across her pale cheeks. "I hope ya don't think I'm to weird," Madi said making fun of herself smiling as she stole a glance at Mark.
"It would see so wouldn't it," Madi said with a small giggle as Mark stated that it was settled. As Mark turned left, Madi followed suit. She'd been to the joke shop enough times now to know the way by heart. "So when we get there," Madi said after a moment. "You won't try to prank me will you?" She asked teasingly. "Because if you do, I'm afraid I'll just have to get you back worse than you got me," she said innocently but her mouth was curved into a mischievous smile.

''You're not weird. And if you are, I'm used to weird people, you're not any different that most of my cousins if you're weird'' said Mark, shrugging as he made a turn right, entering the main street of Diagon Alley. He could see the shop up ahead, but he was in no hurry. He turned back to Madi and shook his head when she asked if he was going to prank her.
''Now don't go giving me ideas, Madi'' Mark said, grinning mischiviously at her, and raising an eyebrow as she said she was going to prank him back.
''So, you really think you can outprank a Weasley? Hmm. I'll have to prove you wrong then. Let me think about a prank'' he then said, grinning innocently and pretending to think really hard. He sighed, acting like no ideas came to mind and looked at her sadly. Then he grinned at her and ran a hand through his hair.
''Just know that I'll prank you back if you prank me back for pranking you'' he then said, grinning at how stupid that sentence sounded. He wiggled his finger at her and smiled innocently.

Madi gave a small giggle as Mark said that if she was weird the he was used to weird people. "Well, I've been told multiple times that I'm one of the strangest people anyone knows," Madi said with a smile. "Most people think I'm from another planet," she confessed with a small shy smile. Taking her hands out of her pockets, Madi turned on her heel so she was walking backward and facing Mark.
"Now why would I give you any ideas?" Madi asked trying to act like she had no idea of what he was talking about. Madi grinned as Mark asked if she really thought she could out prank a Weasley. "In fact I do," she said with a giggle. "But Mark you're going to have a really hard time proving me wrong if I get you first," she said with an innocent smile as she watched him try to think of a prank.
Madi giggled at Mark's next comment. She didn't know why, but she was in a really giggly mood that afternoon. "Well I guess it's war then," she said with a mischievous smile. "Because you have to know that anytime you prank me, I'm just going to have to get you back worse than you got me." Madi smiled innocently, shrugging her shoulders lightly.
Madi shook her head in amusement as Mark waved his finger in front of her face. "Careful I bite," she said jokingly. Grinning, Madi pushed her hair out of her eyes. She knew they were getting close to the joke shop from the buildings they were passing, but she herself was in no rush to get their.

Mark quickly pulled his finger back when Madi said she bit, grinning and shaking his head.
''So, biting is something that's normal on the planet you come from?'' he asked her, meaning that she said most people thought she was from another planet. He chuckled as Madi started walking backwards.
''You might wanna watch out, you're so gonna bump into someone if you're not careful'' he warned her, though he thought it would probably be funny is she did bump into someone.
''And we'll see who wins the war when we start it'' Mark then said, shrugging as she said she was going to get him back when he'd prank her. He knew she could very well outprank him, but he liked a challenge. He looked up when they had arrived at shop, and he entered the store, glaring at the annoying bell that rang whenever someone entered. He was surprised to find the shop slightly more crowded then when he'd left. He hoped his dad didn't need him right now, so he could still show Madi around.
''Alright, I'll go ask my dad if I can show you around the back, you just look around or something'' Mark then said to Madi, making his way through the crowd as he started looking for his father.

||OOC Ya you can control him considering no one on the site plays him yet.||
"Oh yes," Madi said as Mark asked if bitting was normal on the planet that she came from. "The people from my planet are known for bitting people who we think are cute?" Madi said knowing perfectly well that she was being a flirt but going along with the joke, and poking fun at herself. She grinned up at Mark wondering what his reaction would be to that one. In all honesty, Madi had to admit, Mark was quite cute, but he didn't have to know that she really thought that right?
Madison giggled as Mark said she should watch out or she was going to bump into someone if she was careful. "Ah but you see," she said with another smile. "Since I can't see that they are there I can't technically be blamed for walking into them. But since they knew I was there, technically, it would be their fault since they should have had enough common sense to move out of the way." Madison knew her theory was a bit odd, but heck, it had been the one she had always believed. If she couldn't see it, it wasn't there.
But all the same she checked over her shoulder just in time to notice someone about to walk right into her. Madi gave a small squeak of surprise as she jumped out of the way and closer to Mark. "Ok, you win I'll walk facing forward," she said laughing. Turning back around, Madi moved so she was no longer blocking Mark's way as she fell back into step next to him. "You knew that person was going to walk into e didn't you?" Madi asked an eyebrow ached slightly in question. "And you were hoping I was going to walk into them weren't you?" She asked teasingly with a small laugh.
Madi laughed as Mark said they would have to see who won the war once it was started. "Okie dokie" she said with a smile. Madison had already started to think about all the possible things she could use to prank Mark. But she had decided that she wouldn't prank him unless he showed signs of going to prank her. But could she really out prank a Weasley? Fred and George were legends at Hogwarts. How could she ever trick the son of one of the famous Weasley twins. Surely he would know all their tricks.
As Mark lead the way into the shop, Madi looked around at the crowd of people who were inside. As Mark said he was going to go ask his dad, Madison simply nodded her head and watched him walk off into the crowd. She hoped the Mr Weasley would be ok with Mark showing her around the shop. As she waited for Mark to return, Madi walked around the shop looking at all the gadgets that were lined up along the far wall.

"Oh yes. The people from my planet are known for bitting people who we think are cute."
Mark chuckled as Madi said this and poked her arm, grinning innocently at her.
''Well, on my planet we don't bite people. See, biting people is bad for your teeth, and if your teeth are ugly, than you don't look cute anymore, and then we won't get bitten by the people from your planet anymore, and that would hurt our feelings, 'cause we like thinking that we look cute, and if your people don't bite us, that means we're not cute anymore, and that's also bad for our health, 'cause then we land in a depression, and we start eating a lot of chocolate, which will make us gain weight in a pretty quick pace, and eh... yeah. You get my point'' he trailed of, still grinning, knowing his logic was even weirder than Madi's.
He sighed when she said she couldn't be blamed when someone walked in on her. He shook his head in disagreement.
''No, that's not right. Technically speaking, it's just stupid to walk backwards in a crowded place'' he told her, grinning innocently at her. He laughed when he saw someone coming from the other directions, walking straight at Madi. Unfortunately, she noticed just in time and jumped out of the way, squeaking, which only made Mark laugh harder. He quickly controlled himself when Madi started walking next to him and accused him of not warning her.
''I don't know what you're talking about, I totally didn't see that person coming'' he replied, though he didn't look at her because his lie was obvious.
Mark made his way towards the back to the shop, hoping to find his father there. He walked into his Uncle and, asking him were his father was, soon found out his dad was behind the counter. He made his way through the crowd and stopped at the desk.
''Dad?'' he said, hoping to catch his father's attention. Luckily, his father heard him and quickly made his way over.
''Yes?''
''Well, I was wondering if I could show a friend of mine around. She's really interested in pranks'' he tried, looking up innocently at his father. George thought for a moment, and then he nodded, glancing back at the counter.
''Eh yeah, sure, go ahead. Sorry but it's a bit crowded at the moment. Don't make a mess!'' he shouted when he turned back to the costumers. Mark grinned widely as he made his way back over to Madi.
''We're cool. Let's go.''
